The Rapid Edge Sharpening System



The Rapid Edge five disc sharpening system can sharpen bevel edge and convex blades, thinning scissors and texturisers by using a system that removes the minimum amount of metal required to give you the sharpest edge possible.


Serrated blades can also be re-cut using the system.

  • The system has its own lighting and is water cooled so that the blades do not become overheated and loose their hardness.
  • The shape of the blade is maintained to give maximum performance while cutting.
  • The different abrasives used give the blades a final polish and shine as good as or better than new.
  • The scissors are finished by polishing and fine hand hone to give a feel you will not believe.
  • After sharpening the scissors are tested and the tension is adjusted to your requirement.
